Our Veterans have risked their lives for our country. Giving them an opportunity to dress for success, whether for a job interview or important family events, allows them to join the civilian ranks with added dignity. Posternock Apell, PC thanks our friends, clients and colleagues who helped us donate over 50 suits to the Suiting Warriors Foundation.
Veteran and Posternock Apell, PC shareholder, Erwin Apell, Esq., who served in the Army’s 52nd Aviation Battalion (Flying Dragons) during the Vietnam War, and Jeff Apell, Esq. handed off the donation to Suiting Warriors. “We recognize that our returning veterans have provided an important service for our country and that they often need support transitioning to civilian life.” Erwin said, “As attorneys, we understand the need to look professional and feel good about yourself when interviewing for jobs. Suiting Warriors Foundation does a wonderful job supporting this need for our vets. We are proud and honored to do our part.”
The Suiting Warriors Foundation (SWF) believes dressing our Veterans to impress, creates numerous beneficial outcomes: It encourages attendance at job fairs, stimulates social interaction, decreases family separation and supports veterans employment. This one act of giving can preserve families, bolster communities, and grow the economy at local and national levels. SWF dresses both men and women Veterans during Veteran job fairs, resource fairs, and Veteran transitional homeless programs in parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Southern states.
