Matthew R. Litt, Esq.

Matthew joined the Firm in 2016 as an attorney of our Litigation team.  Matt has a background in strategic writing that gives him the opportunity to represent a wide range of clients; any person or any business who needs their side of the story told persuasively when the stakes are highest. As he would say: “I am a writer and a fighter, and I do my best work when I combine the two!” Matt is a board member of the Bordentown Open Arts Performing Arts Center as well as a teacher of persuasive writing and an author. Matt is also a lifetime collector of Wheaties boxes!

Legal Practice

Matthew has been practicing law for 15 years and was the Appellate Practice Chair at one of New Jersey’s largest law firms before coming to Posternock Apell, PC and joining the firm’s South Jersey legal team. He is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the 3rd Circuit United States Court of Appeals, and the District Courts of the EDNY, SDNY, NDNY, and DNJ. He graduated from University of Connecticut Law School in 2002, and from Ithaca College in 1999.

Historic Preservation Law

Matthew is a historian and the bestselling author of the book Christmas 1945 – The Story of the Greatest Celebration in American History.
